Virtual Assistant & Tech Support – WordPress / E-commerce / Events (Part-Time, $20/hr)

Falco’s Emporium is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant & Technical Support person to help manage digital systems, e-commerce operations, and event-related backend support.

Falco’s Emporium is a shop and studio offering spiritual goods, services, and community events, ranging from small gatherings to larger productions such as the Kaua‘i Psychic Fair.

This is a paid, part-time, remote role with room for growth for the right person. The position focuses on technical execution, accuracy, and systems support.

What You’ll Be Supporting:

- E-commerce operations (online shop, products, checkout)

- Event systems (pre-booking, registration, schedules)

- Virtual administrative tasks

- Website and platform maintenance

Core Responsibilities:

- Website & Digital Platform Management

- Maintain and update WordPress websites

- Prepare and publish booking, registration, and pre-sale pages

- Ensure dates, pricing, links, and plugins are accurate

- Monitor site performance and flag issues proactively

E-commerce & Booking Systems:

- Support online shop and checkout systems

- Manage booking and scheduling platforms

- Troubleshoot payment, access, or form-related issues

- Coordinate fixes when issues exceed scope

Email & Communications Implementation:

- Input and schedule approved email content

- Ensure formatting, links, and delivery timing are correct

- Support mailing list organization as directed

Event & Administrative Support:

- Submit approved events to online calendars and listing sites

- Prepare print-ready schedules and admin reference documents

- Support backend needs during event cycles

Digital Organization & Tools:

- Maintain Google Workspace folders and permissions

- Support Discord organization and access setup

- Help keep digital workflows clean and documented

This role is focused on implementation and systems reliability.

Requirements:

- Strong familiarity with WordPress

- Comfort with e-commerce, booking, and checkout systems

- Experience with email platforms (Mailchimp or similar)

- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Discord

- High attention to detail and follow-through

- Reliable communication

Compensation & Schedule:

$20/hour (starting rate)

Part-time, hours defined in advance per project or event cycle

Fully remote

Room for growth based on reliability, experience, and scope
