What You'll Do
-Lead a crew through landscape installation projects from start to finish
-Install planting beds, trees, shrubs, sod, ground cover, and irrigation according to project plans
-Build hardscape features including retaining walls, walkways, patios, and decorative rock or gravel areas
-Read and interpret basic landscape plans and work orders to execute projects accurately
-Manage material deliveries, equipment staging, and job site organization throughout each project
-Operate equipment such as skid steers, compactors, and other installation tools safely and efficiently
-Ensure proper grading, drainage, and soil prep before planting or hardscape installation
-Coordinate with the project manager to hit milestones and communicate any on-site challenges
-Conduct thorough job site cleanup and final walkthroughs before project completion
What You Bring
-Hands-on experience in landscape installation, hardscaping, irrigation or a related construction/trades field
-Ability to lead a crew, delegate tasks, and keep the job moving efficiently
-Comfort operating landscaping and light construction equipment; additional training provided
-Ability to read basic site plans or work orders is a plus
-Physical stamina to perform demanding outdoor work in Hawaii's conditions — lifting heavy materials, digging, grading, and standing for extended periods
-Valid driver's license preferred
-A strong work ethic and genuine pride in the quality of your finished work
-2 wire controller experience is a plus
-Management experience is a plus
-We are looking for a working manager
