AlohaTone.com is looking for a **Technical Support Specialist** to help support business customers with internet connectivity, networking, computer systems, and VoIP phone technologies.
This is a hands-on support role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with customers, learning new technologies, and solving real-world technical issues both remotely and on-site.

## Responsibilities
* Provide remote and on-site technical support for customers.
* Troubleshoot internet connectivity, internal networking, firewalls, and computer operating system issues.
* Support VoIP phone systems, VoIP servers, WAN networks, virtual servers, and related services.
* Assist with email, web hosting, and domain service issues.
* Help with VoIP installations, computer support, and cabling-related site visits.
* Communicate clearly with customers by phone, email, and in person.
* Document issues, follow up with customers, and help ensure strong customer satisfaction.
* Travel to customer sites on Oahu as needed.
* Be available for occasional after-hours or weekend work when required. After-hours work is paid at 1.5x comp time.

## Requirements
* Basic understanding of computer operating systems, internet connectivity, firewalls, and networking.
* Interest in or experience with VoIP phone systems and internet technologies.
* Familiarity with email, websites, and domain services.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
* Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for customer site visits.

## Preferred Qualifications
* Network+, CCNA, CISSP, or similar certifications are a plus.
* Experience with business internet support, networking, VoIP systems, or technical help desk support is a plus.
* Experience with on-site customer support is a plus.
