My roommate recently moved back to the mainland, so my friend and I are opening up an inexpensive shared living opportunity in our 1BR apartment. We originally met at a hostel and wanted to create a comfortable, affordable alternative to hostel living while staying on the island. We are 20 and 27, and we are both super chill, positive, hardworking, and respectful. We love hiking, going out occasionally, and love all types of people. We are looking for people near our age.
We’re open to both short-term and long-term roommates. The goal is simple: affordable living with a hostel vibe, and meet people.
Currently, we keep things minimal — sleeping setups are air mattresses, and furnishings are basic (coffee table so far), but we’re open to improving the space together over time.
📍 Located near Thomas Square at Kinau Villa Apartments. The building is generally quiet, with occasional highway noise due to convenient freeway access. About 15 minutes by car to Waikiki Beach.
