Buyer beware of these used tires that are on sale all over! tires have a shelf/service life of 6 years max! even tho they appear to have a lot tread on them, they do not hold the road (traction) very well, reason being the tires (rubber) dries up, become hard and cracks, separates from the inner steel belt etc. you stop and think about this for one moment ,when it rains very hard, most but not all auto accidents happen by these old dryed up ,hard rubber tires can't grip the roads surface very well, you know like spinning out and hitting an object. Allow me to teach you how to identify the age of tires , look at the sidewall of the tires and find the letters DOT and the 4 numbers ; for example 3914 represents the 39th week of the year 2014. don't fall for the; get plenty tread left or look ,still get the nubs on the tire tread surface. so for your own and families safety and others as well. Now you know how for checkum out!~ Mahalo for reading my post! Have a wonderful and safe New Year, Aloha!
