Lutheran Church of Honolulu is seeking a part-time office administrator. We are located in the Makiki/Manoa area. This position includes a fast-pace, friendly work environment, competitive pay and accrued vacation. Also, participation in 403(b) retirement plan may begin after one year of continuous employment, depending upon hours worked.
The successful candidate must have multi-tasking ability, strong organization and interpersonal skills, be self-directed, be willing to work in a ministry setting and develop familiarity, comfort and sensitivity toward the congregational life of a Christian, Lutheran community. The candidate must be computer savvy with a MAC operating system. Software used include Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, Robly, etc. Strong skills in web-based work is a plus. Also desired is experience and competence in accounting systems, budgeting, check writing, accounts payable and receivable, etc. The successful candidate will be expected to pass a criminal background check/drug test.
