Data Entry Clerk Job Summary

• Prepares, compiles, and sorts documents for data entry.
• Transcribes source data into the required electronic format.
• Transfers information from paper formats into computer files using computer or scanner
• Performs high-volume data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other computer software.
• Verifies integrity of data by comparing it to source documents.
• Reviews data for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolves any discrepancies.
• Maintains a filing system and protects confidential customer information.
• Performs regular backups
• Uses basic office equipment (copy machine, fax machine, scanner, etc.)
• Maintains a satisfactory level of quality and productivity per company standards.
• Completes additional assigned tasks as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous experience in office administration preferred, but not required
• Experienced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) helpful, but not required
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
• Responsible and reliable
• Warm, friendly, flexible, positive attitude
• Having reliable vehicle to run occasional errands not required, but is a plus
