A local construction company is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations by performing a combination of front desk, accounting, and administrative duties. Responsibilities include the following:
• Assist accounting department with data entry, information/document gathering, and reports.
• Provide administrative support such as document filing, data entry, and correspondence.
• Maintain organized digital and physical record keeping.
• Provide administrative support to Estimating and Project Management.
• Maintain communication between internal and external customers.
• Manage front desk and reception.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
• Answer incoming calls and greet customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Monitor office supply levels and help maintain an organized administrative environment.
• Varies administrative, secretarial, and clerical duties as assigned.
• Take Ownership and be accountable.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Ability to prioritize workload, multi-task and solve problems
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
- Ability to always maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- A valid Driver License
- Have a Positive Attitude and self-motivated
- General understanding of the industry is preferred
- Some accounts payable experience is preferred
