Position: Wrap Facilitator, Full-Time

Location: Honolulu Office
The Facilitator provides professional, productive, efficient, respectful, compassionate and safe Wrap meeting for the youth, family, and service providers. Responsibilities include meeting with the youth and family, gaining complete and comprehensive knowledge of the youth and families strength and needs. Ensuring that all confirmed key participants have a general but clear understanding of the Wrap process and protocols, making final preparations and adjustments in collaboration with the Wrap Manager. Responsible for timely preparation of calls, documentation, and database input regarding all assignments. Responsible for accurately documenting detailed information from all key participants such as strengths, concerns, dates of availability, contact information including fax number, telephone, mailing address, and e-mail address provided during preparation calls. Responsible for timely communication with team, including youth, family, agency and service providers. Verifies and clarifies all information pertinent to the Wrap meeting including major issues, concerns, services with details and directions including date, time, and location of the meeting at least three (3) days prior to the meeting or less on rushed meetings. Responsible, in collaboration with the Recorder, for pick-up and delivery of Wrap materials, including food, water, and key or other miscellaneous materials prior to the meeting. Responsible for writing and/or finalizing the Wrap Report including amending and editing until satisfactory completion of reports no later than ten (10) days from the date of the meeting and sooner on rushed requests.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning; and/or a minimum of one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups. Successful criminal and child abuse and neglect background clearance as required by state regulations for those who work with children and families in the Child Welfare System. Current First Aid and CPR certification, training will be provided. Valid driver’s license, acceptable motor vehicle abstract, and access to an insured, reliable vehicle is needed.
