We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain residential and commercial buildings located in Downtown Oahu. All candidates must successfully complete a background check, have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle. Applicants should possess hands-on experience in maintenance, including basic skills in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, and grounds maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, including: Painting/Drywall, Light Plumbing, Basic Electrical work, Mechanical systems, HVAC (Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), and Grounds maintenance.- Access small spaces measuring 18 inches by 18 inches.
- Ensure that mechanical equipment and systems are functioning properly and perform repairs as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with property managers, vendors, and customers.
- Engage in constant movement, including standing, walking, bending, and stretching throughout shifts.
- Lift, push, and pull weights ranging from 50 to 75 pounds.
- Walk and stand for extended periods and bend frequently during the shift.
- Create and maintain work orders. Create and maintain purchase orders.
- Complete any additional maintenance-related tasks as assigned by the HBM supervisor or property management.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Must pass a background check.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Customer service-oriented approach
- General maintenance experience
- Basic mathematical skills
- Previous experience in creating and maintaining work orders and purchase orders.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (40 hours a week) **Must be available to work 3 Saturdays / 3 months of the year (total of 9 Saturdays annually)**
