Assist Benefits Supervisor with daily and monthly items to enhance the success, growth, and performance of the Benefits department.
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ include the following:
โข Complete monthly health insurance enrollments.
โข Send letter to employees newly enrolled in health insurance.
โข Complete monthly health insurance terminations.
โข Update and maintain employeesโ files and assist Payroll Department with benefit deductions or additions in company HRIS.
โข Send COBRA documentation to employees newly terminated in health insurance.
โข Complete filing of new hire paperwork for medical.
โข Obtain any necessary forms to enroll employees into health insurance when eligible.
โข Add newly enrolled employeesโ information into HRIS to view health insurance information.
โข Answer all health insurance and benefit related questions for employees and clients.
โข Assist employees in filing health, dental, life, and all other related and deferred benefit claims.
โข Maintain Flexible Spending Account information and payments.
โข Handle Affordable Care Act reporting for any clients with over 50 FTE.
โข Obtain new HC-5 forms each year as needed.
โข Send initial TDI letter to employees as needed.
โข Track TDI in HRIS.
โข Create Invoices for quarterly TDI billings.
โข Assist and complete injury reports for Workersโ Compensation billing.
โข Work with Workersโ Compensation carrier on any Workersโ Compensation claims.
โข Create invoices for quarterly Workersโ Compensation billing.
โข Monitor state changes to Hawaii Family Leave Law
โข Monitor federal changes to Family Medical Leave Act.
โข Monitor those clients who will need Family Medical Leave coverage with 50 or more employees.
โข Assist clients with paid and unpaid leave of absence policies
โข Monitor employees on paid and unpaid leave of absence.
โข Assist with annual open enrollment.
โข Assist with annual reporting as needed.
โข Assist with retirement planning as needed.

โข With team, present recommendations and assist in implementing quality initiatives.
โข Provide support on any other duties as assigned.

โข Two (2) to four (4) years in benefits or related benefits administration
โข Effective communication skills, oral & written.
โข Experience in Word, Excel, PrismHR and other applicable database programs helpful.
โข Knowledge of Company policies/procedures & benefit package or the ability & willingness to learn.
โข Strong organizational skills.
โข Effectively communicates with people in potentially stressful situations.
โข Ability to consistently meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.

College degree in business from an accredited four (4) year college or equivalent amount of experience and education. Minimum requirements: Two (2) years of payroll and benefits administration. Two (2) years experience in Human Resource Administration

Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
