Clearing out my dad's things and came across this awesome vintage 1975 Topps Planet of The Apes cards set. Complete.

This 1975 TCG / Topps Inc Planet of The Apes Complete Set contains all 66 cards. Topps actually produced the cards under the name "TCG" under license of 20th Century Fox Film Corp and APJACK Productions who produced the TV series in the late 1960's.
It was a follow-up to the equally gory, Planet of The Apes Movire produced earlier that year. The 1975 card set was also marketed to kids, but this time the parents took notice of the gore and complained.
Topps responded by attempting to design the less offensive of the cards, but after a complaint from a Connecticut District attorney, decided not to risk damage to their baseball card empire over a niche set, and discontinued the 1975 cards.
This action only increased the popularity of the set, at the time, and over the years, the popularity of the cards have continued to increase.
As these cards were printed in limited numbers, 1975 Topps Complete Sets have become very difficult to find.
The High Dollar Cards in this set include all 66 cards.
