Seeking 8 Artists for International Residency & Exhibition – 2026
Hawaii Mural Arts (HIMA), a registered nonprofit organization, is seeking 8 visual Artists to participate in an international one-month residency and exhibition tour in Paris, Italy, and Damanhur in 2026.
Selected artists will travel and exhibit as “1 of 8 HIMA Artists representing Hawai‘i overseas.”
Exhibition Locations
• Paris – 59 Rivoli
• Salerno - Castelcivita
• Rome – GARD Gallery
• Damanhur – Spiritual Art Community
Funding & Participation
Funding is supported through on-island fundraising events organized by Hawaii Mural Arts.
Artists must be members of the nonprofit to participate in fundraising activities or may opt into a payment plan.
Residency Fundraising Goal
$5,500 per artist (1-month residency)
Cost Covers:
• Accommodations
• All meals & snacks
• Local transportation
• Art materials
• Excursion fees
• Exhibition entry fees
• Marketing & promotional materials

• Final payment deadline: August 1, 2026
• Limited to 8 artists only
