Choose ONE of these two brilliant, shiny lacquerware plates, each decorated with bamboo stalks. Delicately hand painted. The orange plate is a deep color, almost red but I would definitely define it as orange. Both are all black on the reverse - they look beautiful together as a set.
Made of lacquered wood, a traditional Japanese craft known as shikki.

Japanese lacquerware is known for its durability, light weight, and resistance to deterioration. 10.75 inch diameter.
