EIGHT ZERO EIGHT- SEVEN SEVEN TWO - SEVEN FIVE SIX FIVE

Pick up in town at the 7-11 on Nuuanu Ave and School St.

Aloha, selling a rare 1917 real photo postcard of Queen Liliuokalani. Measures 3.5" x 5.5". Great image of the queen smiling and looking informal.

There is corner wear and a tear at the top right on the window shutters. Originally paid $130 at auction. Found a second one in better condition so I'm selling this one. $40.

Hard to find. Been collecting for years and I only ever saw this postcard come up for sale twice now.

This photo of Queen Lili'uokalani was taken on her lanai at her Honolulu mansion Washington Place on Beretania St. across from where the state capitol stands today. After the queen's death, Washington Place became the official residence of the U.S. governor of Hawaii. Today it is a museum.

Photo was taken months before her death on Nov 11, 1917. The pink tufted chair the queen is sitting in in the photo is on display at Washington Place today.

You can also see the queen wearing her huge solid 24k mariner link and anchor charm bracelet on her left wrist that was a gift from Queen Victoria's son, the Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Alfred), during his 1869 visit to Hawaii. The queen loved gold bracelets and made the gold "Hawaiian bracelet" famous, but this link bracelet was her favorite and you see her wearing it often in many of her photos.

Please see the other items I have listed.
