Looking for a full-time Accountant to join our team who provides service excellence; works well in a fast-paced, office, team environment; is highly self-motivated and detail-oriented; and can efficiently multi-task to ensure timely and accurate completion of job duties.
Essential Duties:
-Apply GAAP principles to accurately record financial transactions, maintain the general ledger, and perform timely account reconciliations in compliance with laws and company policies.
-Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, year-end schedules, tax filings, and related documentation for CPA review and management reporting.
-Analyze financial results and present clear, actionable reports to senior management, including budget input and variance analysis.
-Process journal entries (accruals, recurring, and reversing), accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, credit card transactions and resolve billing discrepancies across systems.
-Support payroll processing, payroll tax accruals, and compliance with employment-related tax requirements.
-Maintain and reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, fixed assess, leases, amortization schedules, and subsidiary ledgers.
-Compute and file required taxes and government reports, ensuring regulatory compliance.
-Use accounting software, spreadsheets, and other applications to prepare, analyze, and format financial data efficiently.
-Adhere to company safety standards and contribute to a safe work environment.
Qualifications: Required (R) or Preferred (P)
-Minimum 3 years related hands-on accounting experience (R)
-Associate degree in Accounting (R)
-Fluency in English (oral and written) (R)
-Excellent oral and written communication skills (R)
-Extensive general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax, and banking working knowledge (R)
-Proficient with Microsoft Office and business accounting software, preferably Sage 100 software (R)
-Honest and ethical conduct (Confidentiality Agreement) (R)
-Driver's License with clean driving record (R)
-Type 45+ wpm (P)
-Excellent attention to detail
-Strong analytic skills
-Ability to cope under pressure; stress management
-Excellent attendance and dependability
