We are a small local contractor looking for an experienced **machine** operator to help with a residential driveway project in ʻĪao Valley. [1][2] This is a hands-on field position working directly with the owner on a steep, tight-access site.
### Job Duties
- Operate mini-excavator and skid steer for grading, trenching, and driveway prep
- Load, spread, and compact base material
- Work safely around existing structures, utilities, and landscaping
- Assist with basic labor tasks as needed (raking, shoveling, setting forms)
### Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years operating heavy equipment (mini-ex, skid steer, or similar) on residential or driveway work [1][2]
- Confident working in tight areas and on slopes
- Strong focus on safety and care for equipment
- Reliable transportation to ʻĪao Valley
- Able to work in sun, rain, and muddy conditions
