ClimbingHI is a Maui-based tree care company serving residential neighborhoods, commercial properties, resorts, and local government clients. Our work focuses on safe, efficient, and professional tree care across the island.
Most of our work is on residential properties, resorts, and commercial landscapes across Maui.
Job Summary
We are looking for reliable crew members interested in weekend or flexible day work with the potential for additional days as trust and experience grow.
We are open to a range of experience levels, including:
• Groundsmen
• Tree climbers
• Aerial lift / bucket truck operators
• Experienced landscapers interested in transitioning into tree work
Work may include pruning, removals, debris management, equipment operation, assisting climbers, or climbing on residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
• Assist with tree pruning and removals
• Operate chippers and assist with debris management
• Support climbers with ropes and rigging or climb yourself
• Operate aerial lifts or bucket trucks (if qualified)
• Maintain safe and organized job sites
• Follow company safety practices
Qualifications
• Reliable, punctual, willing to learn, and being a good human (most important!)
• Comfortable working outdoors in Maui conditions
• Ability to lift and move heavy brush and equipment
• Team-oriented and safety-minded
Preferred but not required:
• Tree work, landscaping, or construction experience
• Chainsaw experience
• Aerial lift or bucket truck experience
• CDL or clean driving record
Pay
$200–$500 per day, depending on experience and responsibilities.
Many of our team members start with flexible or weekend work and move into additional days as they demonstrate reliability and skill.
Working Interview Option
