I am hoping to re home my two budgies and two cockatiels. Originally these were my brothers birds, but he was very young and couldn't care for them correctly and therefore they were stuck in a corner of the house without their basic needs being met. I recently moved back from the city & seeing as nobody could care for them I decided to adopt them and care for them. Since then, my other brother rescued a baby kitten but was unable to care for it in the ways it needed to stay alive so I took over, and we have a parrot who often falls under my care as well. I LOVE all of my animals so much and they make me very happy even thought they're a lot of responsibility. I'm sad to part with these guys, but previous to me and whatever pet store they were purchased from they were not often handled, I had to do a lot of re-integration and getting them more comfortable with leaving their cage & they responded wonderfully but I had to stop doing it often due to my newly rescued kitten running around and wanting to play with them. They are most comfortable in their cage and are able to be handled but are scared of humans and do need someone with patience and understanding to re-integrate them. Cage included, as well as everything inside the cage. They have been together since they were babies, so I think splitting them up would be cruel as they are a solid family unit. These guys would be great in an avery with someone who knows about birds and is educated and also loving. All girls except the one green budgie. They're very sweet animals who deserve to have a happy full life not stuck inside a cage forever & I know someone out there can give them that. Pick up only- I am in Haiku! they will need a new cage soon as its rusted in spots and it disconnects from the lower half bc its old. I use moranga branches as their perches, and every time I clean their cage I switch out the branches with new ones. If you want to buy perches from the pet store, more power to ya. can text show contact info if interested.
