The chairs are constructed with a humpback top rail, which is supported by round posts that continue into the back legs. It houses eight curved round section spindles. Each stepped armrest houses five spindles and is supported by round posts that continue into the front legs. Below the rectangular seat frame is a simple apron with single moulding. At the base, the front legs are connected with a footrail whilst side and back are connected with straight stretchers.
