Slappy Cakes Maui – Lahaina, Maui
Slappy Cakes Maui is hiring a Host to join our front of house team.
We're looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing, and thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Our hosts are the first impression of Slappy Cakes and play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming experience for every guest.
We are a busy, high-volume breakfast restaurant open daily from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, so this position is ideal for someone who enjoys mornings and staying busy.
Responsibilities:
• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
• Manage the waitlist and seating efficiently
• Answer phones and assist with guest inquiries
• Help with to-go orders and retail sales
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to keep service running smoothly
• Assist wherever needed to support the team
Requirements:
• Previous customer service or restaurant experience preferred
• Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Weekend availability required
• Morning availability required
