I wanted to improve the performance of my Golden Ear front speakers and my Martin Logan Center by upgrading the speakers and my favorite salesperson said NO! Those are great speakers they just need a lot more power and WOW was he right! I added the BasX A3 and ran some pre-out wires from my hi-end Denon, plugged in 3 banana speaker leads and popped in my test disks and every one sounded better. Not: maybe a little better, but WAY better. Clarity, crisp highs and occasionally things I never heard before, like a singer taking a breath. Absolutely loved the improvement!

Your surround sound receiver must have PRE-OUT RCA jacks, which most all decent AVRs do..

Sidenote: My Martin Logan center is 4 Ohms, so I was pleased to find instead of 140watts it was getting up to 200watts! Man does that speaker shine!

Sidenote 2: LOVE the auto-on feature and the fact that I can turn off the lights. So turn on [or off] the Denon and the Emotiva follows suit right away! Your surround sound receiver must have Trigger out port

*** Purchased 11/23/23 so the 5 year warranty is valid and transferable until 11/23/28

The BasX A3 combines classical audiophile amplifier architecture, based on a heavy-duty linear power supply, and a carefully designed high current short signal path Class A/B output stage, with advanced microprocessor-controlled monitoring and protection circuitry, to deliver superb sound quality at a truly reasonable price.
