GROVER WASHINGTON JR. - GIL SCOTT HERON - Sat, Jan 14, 1978 at the Civic Auditorium in Portland, Oregon - First / Only printing concert poster - 10 15/16" x 16 27/32" - Red background blends with pink dot screen pattern to form high contrast photo of Grover playing his tenor sax with eyes closed with while typeset lettering above and below - 2" vertical bend at lower right edge is difficult to see (disappears in a frame), does not flake color, a few light bends at upper right edge have a tiny bit of color wear (not easily seen) - Ultra Mega Rare - Beautiful B / B+ to B+ copy - 325.00



MAYNARD FERGUSON & HIS ORCHESTRA - Fri, Sept 29, 1972 (other possible year is 1978) at the Portland Auditorium (Oregon) - First / Only printing concert poster - 14" x 22" - Dark blue and white with violet lettering, dark blue background - Silkscreened poster - Only 200 to 250 copies were printed, due to the expense of the window card stock (thick cardboard like material) - I've only seen two copies of this concert poster in the 9+ years I hunted extensively for concert posters in the Portland area! - Ultra Mega Rare - Beautiful A- condition! - 950.00



GUY LOMBARDO & HIS ROYAL CANADIANS - "The Sweetest Music this side of Heaven" - Thursday, October 12, 1972 at the Civic Auditorium in Portland, Oregon - First / Only printing concert poster - 21 15/16" x 14" - Boxing style / window card poster - Blue and white photo of the late Guy Lombardo (R.I.P. 1977) with typesetting "the sweetest music this side of heaven", large block typeset letters above photo in blue and red on white background - A few bends at the upper corners, 1/4" clean rip at right side of poster, other mnor bends in image area (no color flaking), frameable as is! - Printed by Artcraft Litho (N.Y.) - Ultra Mega Rare - Beautiful B / B+ shape - 325.00
