18' Strip Plank Koa Canoe with False Wiliwili Ama, (Pink Sandlewood). 3 man. Wood Epoxy Saturation Technique developed by the Gougeon Brothers. Fiberglass inside and out with two coats of Polyurethane sprayed by the Ding Kings. The Koa was saved from the mill floor at Martin & MacArthur Furniture Builders while I worked there many years ago. It took almost 10 years of after work times. Working until midnight at times after Electricianing all day. This is Art. Martin & MacArthur use only the finest Big Island Koa, mostly Curley.
