This is a temporary position (with the possibility of an additional 6 month contract) in exchange for:
Private Cottage on 6 lush Acres with flowers, fruit tress and veggies
Use of Truck
LIVING ACCOMMODATIONS
Newly constructed, stand-alone well ventilated furnished private cottage in a beautiful quiet mountain setting.
Includes:
Full kitchen, Private bathroom with flush toilet, outdoor shower, on-demand hot water, on-site laundry, & WiFi (suitable for remote work)
Additional perks:
private estate in a walk & bike friendly neighborhood located 5 miles outside of Kilauea Town Mauka- 10-minute drive to beaches, hikes, health food store, coffee shops, restaurants, eateries, health club, thrift stores, churches, and more, use of Beach & Recreational gear (chairs, umbrella, coolers, paddle boards, bicycles, etc.) & 2012 Toyota Tacoma. Summer on KAUAI!!!!
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Part-time daytime support for: Two Kapuna (non-medical care), both are mobile and
Household upkeep and feeding of Animals on property to include- 3 cats (mostly outdoor) & 1 small dog,
Daily & ongoing Light housekeeping and organization and general Household Cleaning of the Main House-1 bedroom/1 bath/lrg Lanai
to include but not limited to- kitchen clean-up, dishes, light Meal Prep, recycling, trash, checking Post office & Mailbox, Pharmacy pick ups, light shopping, Occasional town runs (Costco, Target, Walmart, Longs) General presence and support in the home, light plant care, airport pick up/drop off & light auto detail.
DETAILS-
Approximately 15–25 hours per week (primarily daytime)
Night time, on property presence
2 month commitment for June–July 2026 with a FULL 1-2 weeks leave- so you can go adventure!!!
IDEAL PERSON-
CLEAN, Reliable, organized, and self-directed, JOYFUL,Calm, respectful, and communicative, Comfortable with routine and a quiet lifestyle, Non-smoker; no drugs or heavy alcohol, previous Experience with caregiving and housekeeping, comfortable with animals, understanding and FUN.
