In 1980 When Gretsch was wanting to offer less expensive guitars for the "squire" market, they contracted with Korea to make the SYNSONICS.
Now it's 2025 and these are just now becoming collectable. Why? Because they are built so so good. I pretty much hope it does not sell... so I can keep it. When you look at the rust free tuners, finish and fretboard... you realize nobody ever played this guitar. It was waiting for me to find it at auction and bring it to Kauai!. Glad I did.
The sound is clear strong and way good. The action as low as can possible go.
No wear on frets. The sonics from the pickups very impressive due to the 2 pickup spread distance. Got an extremely good paint job. Wow. Not to mention having only 1 tone and 1 volume know. EASY TO CONTROL ON STAGE
These babies sell from between $100 and $500 so it's anybodies guess what they are worth. I'll include a gig bag. Bottom line. A SOLID ROCKER with Gretsch quality that is somewhat rare. Call Steve at 652-0515 to visit and play.
