Beverage Cart Attendant (Lihue)

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced and qualified beverage cart attendant server to service our guest on the golf course.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provides an interface with guests and members for purchasing food and beverages on the golf course.
Main responsibility is to ensure that each guest has food and beverage services on the golf course. The Beverage Cart Attendant drives the cart around the golf course.
Provides food and beverages services to the golfers on the golf course.
Drives the beverage cart safely around the golf course.
Takes inventory and restocks beverage cart before each shift and during, if needed.
Turns in daily sales into the Snack Shop and keys sales into register at the end of each shift.
Cleans beverage cart and locks cabinets at the end of each shift.
Performs side work at the start and end of each shift as assigned.
Performs all other duties and responsibilities in a timely manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures and as assigned by the General Manager.
Required Qualifications and Skills

Previous sales or customer service experience.
Previous cashiering experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to safely drive a golf cart.
Solid knowledge of math and the ability to accurately make change from cash transactions while on the course.
Must be able to operate point-of-sale system to enter daily sales.
Ability to balance transactions at the end of each shift.
Maintains a favorable working relationship with all co-workers to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate to help keep high morale and productivity.
Requires ability to focus on many tasks and projects at once.
Self-starter, self-motivated, adaptable, able to work with minimal direction and unsupervised.
Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
A desire to learn and participate in the ongoing improvements and enhancement of the restaurant.
Working conditions

Position will require weekend & shift work. Position will also require working in an outdoor environment with exposure to heat, moisture & cold.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and converse with employees, maintain a stationary position (standing and sitting), move/traverse, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time. The worker may be required to operate in close quarters, crawl spaces, small rooms, and narrow aisles and passageways.
