Ohana Wai LLC is growing and looking to add motivated pool technicians to our team. We’re open to entry-level applicants, experienced technicians, and lead-level techs who take pride in their work and want to be part of a reliable, local company.

All work is on the West Side of the Big Island — no cross-island driving.
🔧 Roles We’re Hiring For
Route Pool Technicians (Entry-Level to Intermediate)
Great for dependable individuals who enjoy working outdoors. Experience is not required, but it is a plus. We’re willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities may include:
Routine pool cleaning and maintenance
Testing and balancing water chemistry
Skimming, brushing, and manual vacuuming
Emptying baskets and cleaning filters as needed
Basic equipment inspections
Logging service notes using our mobile system (PoolBrain)
Lead Pool Technicians (Experienced)
Ideal for technicians who can manage routes independently and handle equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
Additional responsibilities may include:
Diagnosing and repairing pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, etc.)
Installing and programming automation systems
Verifying proper operation of pool systems
Identifying and reporting mechanical issues early
Communicating detailed service notes through PoolBrain
🌟 What We’re Looking For
Experience is a plus, but not required
Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Comfortable working outdoors in a physical role
Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn
Comfortable using mobile apps
Clean driving record preferred
