Beautiful 1920s solid walnut dining set and matching sideboard. Complete, cohesive set in excellent structural condition.
The table is an unusually generous 48” wide, providing far more elbow room than most antique tables. Measures 48” × 64” and extends to 85” with the wide leaf. Comfortably seats 6 without the leaf and 8–10 with the leaf installed.
Construction details:
• Solid walnut throughout
• Seng sliding table mechanism
• Watertown slide hardware
(Both respected early American manufacturers known for durability and smooth extension systems.)
• Original antique brass hardware intact
• 1 captain’s chair + 5 matching side chairs
- table, chairs, sideboard all included in price
Condition:
Structurally excellent and sturdy. All drawers and cabinet doors function properly. Island-kept, clean home, no mold. Chair seats have been reupholstered and are comfortable. Table and hutch tops show age-appropriate wear and would benefit from refinishing if desired, but are smooth and usable as-is.
This is substantial, well-built furniture — not modern veneer construction.
