Mahalo for all of you posting your COUNTERFEIT goods over the past 5 days ! It did make it so much easier for our investigators,, and to the 7 garage / moving sales also a big thank you for having all your fake merchandise displayed, it made our jobs so much easier
! After 5 months of working on this major issue we are finally able to get this project moving in a fast forward direction
And you all know exactly who you are and now so do we .. it’s been a pleasure working with many manufacturers regarding this ongoing investigation, Nike, ADDIAS, Micheal KORS , Kate Spade , Milwaukee and Dewalt tools just to name a few .. sadly the Big Island and Maui have been inducted with more Counterfeit Products than we usually see across the entire Continental US … and sadly many of these individuals will be learning the consequences of their illegal activities as each corporation has already initiated legal civil proceedings as well as signed agreements with us the US Justice Department to peruse criminal charges against these individuals and companies… watch the news media and the filings in US Federal Court civil cases
Since so many of these individual s had been made aware of their illegal actions but they chose not to make any effort to stop this activity, the US Justice Department will take every possible legal action against these individuals as the manufacturers will bankrupt each of them,,, by all means please help yourself and look into the penalties for this criminal activity up to 10 years imprisonment for each counterfeit product and up to a $5million fine for each business and $2milliin fines for individuals plus the penalties by the manufacturers ( which is far higher )
