I forgot to thank the manufacturers Sunil ie: hello kitty for their continued support for identifying their products and the counterfeit products being offered on the Big Island and Maui
We have gathered over 177 individuals and a few businesses over the past 5 months and hopefully we will be putting this to rest in the next few weeks as we move forward in seizures and indictments against these individuals and companies,, it will actually be the manufacturers that will cause the financial harm to these people we can only do what the law allows us to which could actually be 10 years imprisonment for each counterfeit product of which we have documented over 10,000 counterfeit goods being sold on this site .plus facebook marketplace, Instagram and Etsy , those I don’t have the exact number as our team is still documenting these sites. Of course a big mahalo to Craigslist,instagram and Etsy ,, I would say facebook marketplace as well but they as well the others are also facing civil litigation for allowing these people to post their counterfeit goods, which of course they have the opportunity to seek damages from the actual individuals/ businesses that posted these counterfeit goods
