Love being outdoors? Know and love Hawaiian culture, history, and sustainability? We’re looking for someone to join our Ohana Ranch team as a Guide to show visitors the operation, culture and history of Hawai’i and the Ohana Ranch.
Starting Pay:
$40/group-2hr plus tips
Raises after 6 months and 1 year
Location: Ohana Ranch
Schedule: Part-time
What you’ll be doing:
• Taking visitors around the ranch on ATV and UTV
• Sharing stories and knowledge about Hawaiian culture, history, and how Hawaiians live off the land
• Teaching guests about sustainable farming and ranching in Hawaiʻi
• Making sure everyone stays safe and has a good time
• Power washing and cleaning the ATVs and UTVs at the end of the day
Who we’re looking for:
• Someone friendly, dependable, and respectful of Hawaiian culture and farming
• A good communicator who enjoys talking story with people from all over the world
• Someone comfortable riding (and eventually leading rides) on ATVs/UTVs
• No experience necessary, but any background in guiding, farming, or Hawaiian history is a big plus
• Must be okay with physical work and being outdoors most of the day
