I love to fix broken bikes and get them back out there while keeping them out of our landfill. I'm interested in older, bike-store quality bikes like Cannondale, Kona, Giant, Trek, GT, Diamondback, Raleigh or Specialized. I also like to restore vintage bikes built with Japanese lugged steel (i.e., Araya, Miyata, Bianchi, Fuji, Takara, Nishiki, Shogun, even '70's Schwinns). Please do NOT contact me about Walmart bikes.
This is my 11th year doing this and I currently have a bunch of restored bikes on CL. Click on "More ads from this user" to see them. I also do affordable repairs including wheel rebuilds.
My shop is in Ocean View (50mi south of Kona) but I typically go into Kailua-Kona weekly and will gladly pick up your once-upon-a-time quality bicycle but is now a sad sack.
