The Thallassa is a 33' Truant sloop designed by William Gardner and built in Canada in 1979. I puchashed her last June and am selling her because I have two other sailboats. She is solidly build, can handle rough water and sails smoothly. She needs a bit of work on the interior and the exterior needs some paint. The sails and rigging are in good shape. The engine is a 27hp.Yanmar 3GM30F and I was told it has 450 hours. It has been refurbished, and recently installed. The bottom has been cleaned. The pilothouse has a cool interior that is spacious and offers protection from the elements. She has elegant lines and is a head turner. Truants are known to be great costal cruisers. I do not know how she would be as an inter-island cruiser or how she would handle a trip to the mainland. There were 30 Truants built in Canada before the molds were sold to Saturna in 1981. They hold their value well and often sell for 20K-40K in the Pacific Northwest. There is a facebook owners group for Truant/Saturna 33. She does not come with the slip. $7000.
