XXS Specialized Hardrock 3x8 Speed Mountain Bike COMPLETELY REBUILT - $375 (Na'alehu - Ocean View - Capt Cook - Kailua-Kona)

This XXS 2006 Specialized Hardrock Sport super small mountain bike, with it's pretty blue and light weight aluminum frame, is practically like new. The frame has been cleaned and clearcoated. The front shock stanchions have been painted but the fork is frozen - its only defect. The drivetrain has the original 3x8 trigger shifters, but a new bottom bracket, new crankset, new cassette, new rear derailleur and new cables and housings plus a used front derailleur and chain. The 3x8 speed gearing is low and very good for hill climbing. It shifts though the gears quickly. The 26" wheels have been professionally rebuilt with used and fully serviced Shimano hubs, used stainless spokes and used quality alloy rims. They spin freely, round and true with smooth brake tracks. The tires are used but in good to excellent condition Bell AirGuards. The used v-brake calipers and levers brake confidently. A quality alloy kickstand makes storage easy.
This little bike is perfect for little people. It's tagged "S" but it measures a very short 12" which makes it more like a XXS if not XXXS in my book. I'm 5'1" and it's too small for me! Standover height is 27.5".
In 2006, it retailed for $360 which is $570 in today's dollars.
