model name / number: Tacx Neo Bike
Garmin Tacx Neo Bike (original model), a top-of-the-line stationary bike ideal for realistic training. Supports Ant+/Bluetooth, which connects to a variety of devices and services. I've previously used it with Zwift and Fulgaz on an Apple TV and currently use it connected to TrainerRoad on my phone.

Unlike most trainers, it has integrated buttons for simulating shifting and braking. I've never used these, but I hear they're supported by some services (including Garmin's own service).

It has a built-in tablet stand and two small fans that automatically turn on and dynamically adjust to your speed.

The electromagnetic flywheel can be controlled by the app you're using to provide additional feedback. For example, it will spin on its own when you ride downhill in an app. When you go offroad (or on cobblestone paths) in an app, it will simulate shaking. You can turn this off if you want. I don't think it adds a lot, but it's kind of fun.

The bike is in great shape. There's a little bit of corrosion where sweat falls on some bolt heads but it's otherwise pristine. Early on, I had a problem with the crank arms coming lose; I found a solution on YouTube to install an extra through bolt on the bike and that's been a 100% success, so I still have that installed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmwDTjJR3V0 (it's easy to remove if you don't like it).

I've ridden about 200 hours on the bike; I can provide a Strava link with my ride history.

I'm selling because I gained a bunch of weight during a work overload last year and sitting on the bicycle seat has become too uncomfortable, so my fiancee and I ordered an elliptical machine instead. However, she doesn't want the old bike sitting around the house just because I hope I'll be getting back to it someday.

I originally paid $3,350 ($3,200 bike, $150 taxes). I'm initially listing for $2,000 and will consider offers by email/text (I won't negotiate in person after you arrive).

Included:

- Bike
- Mounted fans
- Cheap pedals (no cage or clip-ins)
- Cheap saddle
- Power adapter (optional, but recommended)
- Bottle cage (never used, came with bike)
- 4 quick adjust handles
- Alternative tablet mount (if you decide you don't like the included fans)
- Some of the hex wrenches that came with it (maybe not all of them)

Pictured but not included:

- Floor mat
- Floor fan

If there's anything you'd expect but that you don't see listed above, I suggest contacting me before you come to inspect the item so that I can search around for it.

You're welcome to come by and try the bike. I work from home, so I have wide availability.

No checks. Cash or bitcoin only. Pick up only (I'm in downtown Hilo). The bike will need to be carried down a single flight of wide stairs from my porch. I can help, but please come with at least one other strong person (bike weighs about 120 lbs). Also be sure to bring a tarp and bungee cords if you're driving far: the bike has partly exposed electronics.
