This is a unique feather fan made from Blue and Gold Macaw feathers and Peacock Feathers. The colors are all natural. The amazing thing is how the macaw feathers are different colors on the front and the back of the feather. The fan does not close up, rather it stays open as an art piece. It is functional as well as beautiful, as the feathers give a natural and gentle breeze when you fan yourself. The handle is an original handmade design and made of fired ceramic with an acrylic patina. There are glass crystal beads strung on hemp cording that hang below the handle for an extra sparkle. This fan is new and has never been used.

No birds are harmed to create these fans. Birds naturally shed their feathers and they can be collected naturally. These feathers come from the happy homes of individuals who rescue abandoned or homeless birds on the Big Island of Hawaii like: Starfire Sanctuary and Parrots in Paradise. These are places where they get the best of care and nutritious food, which makes their feathers even brighter and healthier.
