Our condominium is in the Beautiful New Plantation in Princeville. We have the best location for a two bedroom at the Plantation. We are very close to the pool and hot tub and have a view of the well-manicured grounds. Walk to the world famous hideaways or queens bath beaches. There are three cable TVs and a hi/spd computer.

It has great views of the gardens and pool from the lanai. This is a ground floor unit with attached garage providing easy access and has over 1300 square feet of living space. Princeville is noted for its golfing as it boasts the world famous "Prince Course" rated in the top 10 in the world. Speaking of top 10, nearby Hanalei Bay Beach is rated as one of the best in the world. This makes Kauai one of the great islands in the world and home of many great films.

This air-conditioned one bedroom executive condominium has lots of upgrades and additions. The normal rate is $129 per night. This is a temporary special offer. This is not one of those rentals that advertise close to the beach but is actually on the polluted Ala Wai Canal nor is it one of those residential walk up buildings that has no elevators thus leaving you to carry your luggage up and down many flights of stairs. Kalakaua is where all the major hotels are one block to the beach. The unit is equipped with a Pentium IV computer that allows high speed internet access and Wi-Fi for your laptops. This is an immaculate one bedroom that sleeps four comfortably. It has a Deluxe King bed in the bedroom and a very comfortable sleeper couch bed with lots of extra linens. There is also a single futon with linens. This suite has been stocked with X Box & games and a movie video library. It boasts a full kitchen with brand new refrigerator, stove/oven, pots, pans, rice cooker, dishes and silverware. Also deluxe Sharper Image T-Fal toaster, heavy duty blender, 2 color TVs, 2 stereos(CD & Tape), 2 VCRs, 2 DVD Players, Panasonic microwave, tea pot, coffee maker and grinder, 2 remote phones, 2 smoke alarms, iron and ironing board, large vacuum w/hand vacuum, alarm clock radio/CD player and ipod docking station/player/charger in the bedroom. The unit is on the second floor and easily accessible by stairs or elevator....just 5 steps from the elevator and parking. You will enjoy visiting because of your proximity to the beach, (Hilton Hawaiiian Village Beach Resort and Spa) and ocean activities, shopping (Ala Moana Shopping Center), grocery store (The Food Pantry), night life, restaurants and of course the new Hawaii Convention Center. Nearby activities: Golf, Tennis, Fishing, Wildlife Viewing, Shopping, Restaurants, Live Theater, Cinemas, Museums, Sightseeing, Swimming, Snorkeling & Diving, Boating, Sailing, Surfing, Windsurfing, Parasailing, Jet Skiing, Shelling. The unit is one block to the beach and (Waikiki) is just 25 minutes from the airport. HOW TO GET TO THE BEACH FROM THE CONDO: Go out the front of the building and Right at the sidewalk to the corner. Turn Right at the corner without crossing the street. At the next corner you will be adjacent to the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa. Just cross the street. You can find cheaper units, but this is by far the most for your money. My old rate was $129 per night. I have dropped the price to $99 except for the Holiday period from December 15 to January 15. This is a temporary special rate. Rate is based on double occupancy. Please add $14 per person per night after two people.

Your hospitality, clear expectations, the security (including our favorite Channel 57) and great location of your condo (especially the proximity to that beautiful beach) added to the enjoyment of our trip. We were able to easily walk everywhere during our stay, with the exception of the one day we drove to the North Shore to see the massive waves and watch a surf competition. We also had the chance to marvel at the amzing hoard of costume clad partiers on Halloween night - WOW - I can only imagine that New Orleans could be as crazy. YES! White powdery sand beach just 30 steps from the condo. The normal rate is $174 per night. This is a temporary special offer. This is a true one bedroom that sleeps four to six comfortably. It is not one of those studios with a small bed niche that others in the building (Pats at Punaluu) try to pass off as a one bedroom. This unit is the ground floor corner unit, the most preferred location. All visitors have agreed that this unit is absolutely the best location in the building. Luxurious upgrades include granite counter top, travertine type flooring, $3,000 massage chair and state of the art ceiling fans. It has a Deluxe King bed with pillowtop mattress in the bedroom, a full size "top of the line" futon couch which is more comfortable than a bed (at a cost of more than $400 for the futon mattress alone), 2 single futons and even an extra full size king air mattress with pump and lots of extra linens. There is a Pentium IV computer in the bedroom that has unlimited high speed internet access and Wi-Fi for your laptops. The unit is stocked with quality snorkeling equipment, quality Boogie boards, movie video library and even books. There is a full kitchen with large refrigerator, stove/oven, pots, pans, dishes and silverware, paintings of ocean and ocean life, track lighting in both front and back rooms, acrylic glass set, microwave containers, knife set, 'patio set with cushions .....Also deluxe toaster oven w/rotisserie, automatic rice cooker, 2 color TVs, VCR, DVD Player, Panasonic microwave, coffee maker and grinder, Kenmore washer/dryer, remote phone, leather Recliner chair and clock radio/CD player in the bedroom. You will enjoy visiting because part of the time you have the white sandy beach completely to yourself (Yes it is always safe). The area (Hauula) is on the opposite side of the island from the airport and Waikiki. About 45 minutes to an hour drive. It is not far from the Polynesian Cultural Center (about a 10 min.drive). The city bus line picks up directly in front of the unit. Sunset Beach is about 15 minutes away. Baywatch Hawaii was filmed about 25 minutes away in Haleiwa and North Shore on FOX was filmed 20 minutes away in the same direction. "Lost" is presently filming in Waialua past Haleiwa. Foodland Supermarket is a major chain in Hawaii and has one ten minutes away. The building is eight stories high. Avoid lengthy elevator waits on your vacation. It is thirty steps to a white secluded sandy beach. The ocean is calm because of a reef 1/4 mile out which blocks the waves. It is perfect for kids to enjoy snorkeling and swimming. The building has amenities like professional Bar-b-que area, gym with sauna, swimming pool next to your unit and sunning area behind your unit. Your parking stall is included and located right in front of the unit. This is the ground floor, corner unit so you avoid lengthy elevator waits on your vacation. This is the preferred size and location. The unit extends from one end of the building to the other and measures approximately 850 sq. ft. My old rate was $174 per night. 10/19/09 Positive Looking for someplace to really kick-back? This is just for you. Perfectly situated on the eastern side of the island, great for exploring all of Oahu and still have a quiet home base to return to. There's big waves and lots of surfing and shopping close by to the North (don't forget the Turtles, FANTASTIC!) and easy to make your way around the whole island from Punalu'u. Swim in the pool. We found the beach in our own back yard to be the BEST! Snorkel, swim, sunbath. Perfect water temperature. The condo is great and you really feel welcome, just home. Everything you need for cooking, relaxing, entertainment, even a washer and dryer (don't over pack like I did). We don't have kids but there seemed to be a more than ample supply of things for children and besides if your kids are anything like what ours used to be like they will never want to get out of the water. While we were originally cautious about booking such a long stay, sight unseen, I will say that his condo is exactly as described. Everything we could have needed or wanted. Beach gear and toys for all ages, lots of extra towels and sheets, huge paperback library, we borrowed 1 and left several of our own. Very well stocked kitchen. Best of all... location location location. We could stay home at pool or beach, or be a short 20-30 minute drive from Kanehoe, Kailua, or Makapuu to the south or 20 min. north to the best snorkeling at Sharks Cove & 3 Tables (don't waste $$ or time on Hanuama Bay, too crowded), surfing at Chen's reef. Just the best. NOTE: shop at Foodland at Sharks Cove rather than Laie, much cheaper! Giovanni's Shrimp was GREAT. Emmanuel checked in with us, more than once, to make sure all was well. 02/16/09 Positive My wife and I spent 3 nights at this condo and really enjoyed it. Its in a perfect spot to really see all of the island and just far enough away from downtown to feel like you are away from the rat race. The beach is really nice although we were unlucky with the weather. The natives told us that the windy overcast weather we experienced was unusual but we were able to get one good day at the beach. 02/12/09 Positive Can I just say...BEAUTIFUL?!!! It's steps away from the beach. He has so much snorkeling equipment (fins, masks, snorkels)... You can snorkel right out in front of the property. There is a private beach, really peaceful... So one way you get an amazing view of the beach, and the other way, you get a view of the beautiful mountains... So PERFECT! The condo has internet access, tv, huge king sized bed, futon, enclosed patio (but the breeze just flows right through). Towels, laundry facilities in the unit, pots, pans, cups, blankets, pillows... The snorkeling equipment was used every day, and it was so awesome to wake up to the sound and view of the ocean. 10/05/08 Positive What a wonderful condo for us to enjoy on our very first trip to Hawaii in September this year. Very nicely decorated, very clean and within 30 steps to the beach, where the water was absolutely beautiful & calm. Everyday we practically had the beach to ourselves, where we made use of the snorkling equipment provided. We saw many different beautiful schools of fish, a morey eel & a sea turtle one day. We enjoyed sitting out on the lanai every morning to have our breakfast and enjoy the view. If you turn right out of the condos, you can enjoy a very nice 30 minuite drive to Sunset Beach and watch the surfers. Another 15 minutes or so to we were at Haleiwa with its cool atmosphere, plenty of nice restaurants and shops. We loved driving to Waikiki and shopping at the International Market. Upon arriving we were pleased to find that there was plenty of room and bedding for all. Everything was as described on the website. Boogie boards and snorkeling equipment were great and everyone was able to find equipment that fit! Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, spices and basics. Pool, patio area and beach were only steps away. (Great area for snorkeling and calm beach for the kids.) Computer with internet was a big help. Always felt safe on the beach and in the neighborhood. I didn't get a sunburn and I was out in the sun for 2 days on the beach. I had a nice glass of wine and some snacks at the tables as the sun set on the beautiful beach. The water is calmer early in the morning. I found the afternoon surf and undertow quite strong. I would recommend swimming in the morning if possible. The condo was great. Highly recommended. 05/28/08 Positive We just returned from a wonderful vacation at Mr. Chen's condo. As past guests have commented, we too were a little hesitant renting on line but you can rest assured, it is exactly as described in print and in pictures. This truly was THE BEST unit in the building. You cannot get any closer to the beach, which had no more than 6 people on it at any given time. The sunrises were amazing and Mr. Chen supplies you with everything you could possibly need for a really enjoyable holiday. The King size bed was sooo comfortable! 03/15/08 Positive We just got back from Hawaii and are making plans to go again. Mr. Chen's condo was extremely accomodating. We stayed there with our four kids. It was wonderful to have plenty of boogie boards, masks, snorkels, coolers, etc. to use. We also made use of the washer and dryer and DVD player. 02/25/08 Positive My husband and I just got back from a glorious week at Emanuel's condo on the lovely windward coast. If you are looking for a quiet, empty, beautiful beachfront place,this is it. The condo is simple but very clean, and well-stocked. We have our own snorkeling gear, but he does stock the place with lots of stuff if you don't. There are beach chairs, boogie boards, and lots of videos, books, etc. (we never used those once!) The beach is safe for kids, because it's protected by the reef 1/2 mile (?) away, but it's also great for snorkeling. I saw a 400-500 lb. sea turtle a few hundred feet out toward the reef. There are plenty of fish and sealife! Many of the people are retired residents and very friendly. Even Ken, the caretaker/gardener, was super helpful with snorkel/travel tips. The north shore waves/ Haleiwa town is about 20-30 mins. north, and Kaneohe Bay about the same distance south. This is NOT the place if you like to party, drink, club and have Waikiki style beaches and fancy accomodations. We never saw more than 7-8 people at a time on the entire stretch of beach. Also, the washer/dryer is very convenient- you go home with clean laundry! I was worried renting off of craigslist, but it really worked out. sheila, Central Valley, CA 209 722 8302

01/01/08 Positive We just got home (12/31/07) from a one week stay at Mr. Chen's condo. Everything from start to finish was a wonderful experience!! He is very quick to respond to your emails and I was very impressed to get a personal phone call from him before our arrival. It was a pleasant drive from Honolulu and I could do it like I lived there after a couple of days. The weather did not quite work in our favor to partake in all of the beach gear, but we definitely want to try again when it is not Winter. Everything was fabulous and it felt like home. Would never stay in a hotel when the beach is right outside the door. Who could ask for anything more! Our Ohana is a cozy, 600 sqft. two bedroom one bath semi-attached guest cottage conveniently located just about a block away from Kama'ole Point and the Pacific Ocean. Kama'ole Point is a lava rock spit that divides Kama'ole Beach Parks II and III. The Point is well known for its tide pools and snorkeling. The west end of our property fronts an undeveloped parcel of land that extends all the way to The Point, so there is not a single man-made structure between us and the Pacific Ocean !
The Kama'ole beaches and the South Kihei strip are within an easy 5-10 minute walk from here. In fact, since we are directly behind the famous South Kihei condo row, it is impossible to get any closer to a South Kihei resort without actually staying in one. Yet with us, you are enjoying your own private home complete with your own backyard rather than sharing the grounds with HUNDREDS of other visitors !

Turn the other way down the road, and, if it is Sunday, the Maku'u farmers market is the place to browse, then 10 minutes to the old fashioned hippie town of Pahoa; drive the scenic Kalapana-Kapoho loop, see the lava flow, hot ponds, tide pools, see if the dolphins are in at Kehena Beach, or, on Sunday drummers hit the beach. Take a picnic lunch, and pick a private spot, by the ocean, under big, shady trees.

It is a two hour drive to just about anywhere on the island. We will direct you to what you want too see, and do, or describe the various, diverse areas of the island, for site-seeing, or property searches.

This is a corner unit with windows on 2 sides and a furnished lanai facing the ocean with a southwest exposure. Great for private sunbathing. It will sleep up to 5 people. It is furnished with a custom made sofa and matching rattan and bamboo accented furniture. Queen size bed and twin bed in bedroom. We have seen many other units in the building. The entire kitchen and bathroom were redone with new appliances, counters and cabinets in 2005.
This unit has the best quality and contemporary furnishings and the most appliances and electronics (in our opinion). It has ceiling fans in both the living room and bedroom as well as air-conditioning in both rooms. The living room has a television with a DVD player, the bedroom has a new flat panel television.
