This is a tale about Kainoa Reyes a struggling 22 year old who is searching for direction and meaning in his life, whom after the passing of his Aunty and Uncle is placed as the caretaker of his 8-year-old nephew Leka. Kainoa yearns to give Leka the love and support he grew up without, but Kainoa lacks the self control to make good decisions and is hampered by his friends because he is not secure enough in himself to step away from the bad things they do together and become the good parenting figure for young Leka, until one day Kainoa sees one of his friends force their bad ways on his little brother (around the same age as Leka) and Kainoa gains the strength and courage to walk away from this negativity and start on a path to becoming the Uncle that Leka really needs right now, thus illuminating that self reflectance leads to courage and maturity.

Experienced and entry level positions available. We will train in special events and sound system set up to mixing. Job will entail physical labor which includes lifting of speakers, moving sound equipment arcade/video gaming equipment etc. DJ portion training will be given on the set of these systems as well as programming/mixing of songs for various occasions. DJ training sessions are held Wednesday evenings at our training facility.
Flexible schedule is a must. Events are usually on Fri./Sat./Sun with occasional gigs Mon-Thurs. Times will vary; schedule is posted on a weekly basis. We have weekly training and meeting sessions. This job is considered part-time work, but depending on availability and skill, you could earn more hours.

Job Description: Music Designer/Coordinator/Emcee will perform wedding receptions and other events, primarily on weekends. Company provides all equipment and music. Music designer will assist with set-up, perform according to detailed planner, entertain, and represent the company professionally. Some training is necessary. Equipment Operation (30%)
Responsible for accurate setup and efficient operation of basic equipment as listed on addendum (Level III).
Customer Service (30%)
Provide excellent service and strive to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers. Maintain a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication.
Technical Ability (15%)
Understands the technical aspects of the job and demonstrates basic operational ability to trouble shoot and problem solve with hardware and software.
Systems Knowledge (15%)
Understands company processes, follows procedures and completes systems entry and paperwork accurately. Interact with other staff and outside vendors for equipment. Increase revenue by utilizing floor up-selling techniques. Work with clients to finalize invoices. Complete Helios order entry.
Equipment Security/Maintenance (10%)
Assist team with proper security, storage, transportation, and maintenance of equipment (audio, visual, lighting, electrical, rigging, etc.) Participate in physical inventory count processes as requested.
Required Skills
•High School Diploma Required; Bachelors Degree Preferred
•Technical aptitude and basic understanding of how to use audiovisual equipment and computer hardware and software.

•Must be able to accommodate a rotating work schedule to include nights and weekends.

Required Experience
Less than 1 year of field-based event technology experience and previous customer service experience.

Whale watch videographers are responsible to sell and produce a professional video documentary of the guest’s whale watching trip. The segment is to include footage of the guests, naturalist narration, and whales encountered during the trip. Whale watch trips are two-hours beginning at 8am and 4pm daily. So if you don’t want to film the snorkeling trips your days can be free. Or, combine the trips to maximize your revenues and time
You will be required to film, edit and produce the final DVD from each day’s trip. You need your own 3-chip or HD (preferred) camcorder, and computer with video editing and production software. The snorkeling videographer will need to own an underwater housing, Must be proficient with video editing and production software. This is NOT a beginner position. Professionalism is necessary for success. If you are concerned about your sales ability, we can mentor you in low key selling techniques. However, you must already possess video editing and production proficiency. Candidate must be an established Maui resident and able to provide a video demo of current videography skills.
