Primary Responsibilities:

BST is searching for an experienced Senior Level Data Architect / Application Developer with Oracle (10g/11g) working with large data sets (terabytes). This position will focus on architecting solutions in a web environment. Person must possess high-level technical and functional expertise. Candidate will utilize their extensive experience, working with clients and BST personnel to determine scope and requirements, develop viable solutions, always mindful of accessibility, security and recoverability.

The ideal candidate would have:

�5+ years - programming 3/4GL tools (e.g., Oracle Tools, PowerBuilder, PL/SQL, Eclipse, SQR, Java, VB)
�3+ years - leadership role in full development life cycle, emphasis on requirements gathering and data modeling
�3+ years - RDBMS (Oracle, SQLServer), Application servers (Oracle, Weblogic�), and web technologies (.NET, J2EE, SOAP) and SQL
�Strong communication, organizational, problem solving skills
�Knowledge of human resources and/or payroll system applications is a plus

Skills (Hardware, Software, Machine operations, etc.): The successful candidate will possess solid (and recent) experience with C/C++, C#, or Linux development. Knowledge and experience in data networking (LAN/WAN, Routing protocols, Ethernet, TCP/IP, Multicast, POS) is highly desired. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary as is the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
