I have a room for rent in a 2 bedroom apartment in Makiki. Its location puts it only a mile from Waikiki, UH, Chinatown and even less to Ala Moanna (great for a jog to the beach!) and Wal-Mart. I haven't needed a car since moving in and get by just fine biking everywhere I need to go. If biking isn't your thing, there is a bus stop across the street and an off street parking stall with a gate. Amenities include washer/dryer, pool, and yard. Otherwise, common areas include a comfortable living room and kitchen. Your room would be the master BR and two closets. The room itself is unfurnished, but the rest of the apartment has the basics (couch, shelves, pots/pans, dishes, etc.)

Your roommate (me) is a 28 year old UH graduate student. In my free time, I generally scuba dive and/or hike. I enjoy a beer in the evenings, but you'll rarely catch me drunk. I am pretty easy going, clean, and can live comfortably with many different personality types. I just need someone who will reliably uphold their end of the rent. One other roomie is a pleasant, one-eyed cat named "Killer", left to me by a former roommate. She won't cause you any trouble, unless you are somehow offended by sleeping animals. No smokers/drugs.
