Energy Industries is currently seeking qualified Electricians and Lighting Retrofit Technicians. Only those with a minimum 2 years electrical experience will be considered.
Duties include:
•Reading and comprehending electrical maps
•Following electrical codes and regulations set by the State of Hawaii
•Assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring systems
•Testing electrical circuits for efficiency
•Performing semi-skilled maintenance and repair of interior and exterior fluorescent, incandescent, and high intensity discharge building light fixtures
•Replacing fuses, ballasts and lamp sockets
•Retrofitting fixtures including converting/modifying existing fixtures to be more energy efficient by replacing ballasts, lamps and optics or installing a variety of manufactured UL Listed retrofit kits
•Travel, weekends, and night work may be required
Requirements:
•High School diploma or equivalent
•Minimum 2 years experience
