Crew/mate wanted for high-end wildlife-encounter tour vessel with an intimate, progressive company. With only four - six passengers, you and a captain, you share the spotlight with a multitude of ocean creatures, large and small, fostering both a nature connection and appreciation.
- Ocean, naturalist, and boat handling professional with social skills.
- When in the water, you are in your element and can catch up with the better swimmers, while physically fit and mentally able to help those who aren’t.
- You’re flexible and open-minded (everyday is a new experience), thoughtful, curious, confident, honest, and passionate.
- Have an interest or knack in videography and photography both for research and broadcast media purposes. Aren't shy behind or in front of a camera (we are often being broadcast live).
- Random drug testing mandatory, as is being clear-headed. Will need to be certified in CPR and Emergency Rescue.
Lots of fun, life is good, responsibility and ethics are high. Training in some areas possible (if strength in others). Part-time, most often mornings only, multi-day trips possible, can easily progress to captain position. Please be aware that while the job is part time (mornings), we are looking for a 2 - 4 year commitment and will commonly need you to be available at least 5 days a week, with seasonal changes.
