POSITION DESCRIPTION: SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER/TECHNICAL LEAD
Senior member of the engineering team that helps lead the development of various software applications within Referentia's C4I Systems and Advanced Technology Solutions business areas.
Duties:
• Directs the activities of a small team of engineers in the design, development, integration and testing of software using industry best practices. Continually looks for ways of improving development processes.
• Provides technical leadership on a project. Ensure requirements are accurately implemented and verified. Contributes to the design of system architecture, and the development and implementation of the technical solutions.
• Develops code and minimize risks on critical components. Helps ensure integration & testing of development team.
Qualifications:
• BSCS/EE with at least 5 years of software development experience.
• The ideal candidate is an individual who has repeatedly successfully delivered software projects on aggressive schedules.
• Strong knowledge in OOD/OOP; proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C#, C++.
• Prefer an individual who has a strong technical leadership background and who will be able to run design and code reviews and assist in providing architectural direction.
• Team player with good interpersonal/communication skills
• Must be able to obtain security clearance
