Description:
Possesses competent technical skills for operation of equipment used to record electroencephalograms. Prepares patient's head for electrode placement and ensures proper care and operation of equipment used. The technologist is responsible for completion of daily work assignments, notifying management of supply and equipment needs and cleaning of the lab area and equipment. Must have a general understanding of institutional research processes, including basic statistical operations, basics of research methodology, reporting, and ethics; knowledge of the operation of all types of office equipment and computers, following established study protocol procedures and scoring standardized psychological questionnaires.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree or previous research experience preferred; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; well-organized and detail-oriented; high-degree of flexibility to handle changing priorities; flexible hours to meet study needs; able to work independently and take initiative as a member of a team; able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing; knowledge in Eprime beneficial.
