Job Description - Network Engineer (VOIP)
Location - Pearl Harbor, Hawaii
Status - W2 or 1099
Rate - D.O.E.

** ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED, TS ELIGIBLE **

Provide expertise in the design, operation and maintenance of telecommunications networks. Apply IP and VoIP knowledge to network transformation and integration efforts. Support VoIP education, planning, testing and troubleshooting projects.

Requirements:

• Requires 3-5 years experience implementing Voice over Internet Protocol technologies with such vendor equipment as Nortel (CS-1000M, AS5300) or Cisco 7800 series, Avaya and any other JITC certified VoIP solutions.
• Advanced networking skills (expensive knowledge of TCP/IP, L2 switching, VLAN, OSPF)
• Cisco Certifications highly desireable
• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline

This is a contract position on Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Services will be available on an 8-hour, Monday through Friday schedule, exclusive of Federal and site specific State Government holidays. Initial term is for 1 year, with possible extensions.
