Store Manager COPARS (Pearl Harbor)
Job Description Summary:
This individual will manage and coordinate work activities to successfully operate the Contract Operated Parts Store (COPARS)as a full-service, walk-in, walk-out retail operation at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam in accordance to the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Activities include maintaining adequate inventory levels to insure parts and services are available to Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Hawaii and Fleet Logistic Center Pearl Harbor (FLC PH) personnel. The Store Manager will ensure that a high level of customer service and assistance is given to all customers and service/parts needs are met. This position also requires a team-partnering concept to be maintained in the overall operation of the facility. This is a working supervisory position requiring hands-on supervision of staff and presence on the operations floor to monitor work activities and ensure contract requirements are met. The Store Manager will maintain a constant relationship with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to ensure the operation of this contract is within the scope of work.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and or education / work experience that demonstrates skills in supervision of people in a work project. 5 year work experience in an auto parts retail store environment, inventory control / management, computer skills, knowledge of computer software systems involved with point of sales (POS) systems preferred. Must have a valid Hawaii Driver's License (Type 3). Must have a traffic abstract that meets company guidelines. Must retain HDL on person at all times during working hours.
