We took in a lost dog that unfortuantely had no microchip. She was pretty banged up but is 100% better now. Unfortunately we've been unable to locate her owners in the past month, and with 2 dogs already we don't have the time to train her and its just not fair to her. She is friendly, eager to please, gets along with both our dogs and cat, she doens't chew on our furniture, she has learned no, get, sit, and is currently failing miserably with "stay." :) She manages well on a leash and interacts well with other dogs on her walks.
Vet says she's a little over a year old. She weighs 49 lbs if that gives you a size idea. She has no agressive traits that we have seen. She has had puppies, but also has a scar so I don't know if she is fixed. Other than her surgery she doesn't have any vaccination history that we would be able to provide. She does well around children except you need to watch because she likes to play-she would knock a child down if she jumped on them. She has had strange children running at her from different directions all wanting to pet her and she did nothing but revel in the attention-no cowering, second thoughts or growling. We have a 6 lb cat that she respects and gets along with.
If you are interested in this dog we'd love to see her find a new home where she can get the time she deserves. Please call 831-601-2257 or email for more information and to discuss rehoming fee.
