Non Profit has opening for part time Direct Mail and Donor Database Management Assistant in Manoa. This position is 21 hours per week with medical & dental benefits.

The Direct Mail and Donor Database Management Assistant supports the Director of Marketing and Donor Management by assisting in the maintenance of donor records, assists in direct mail campaign management, while being skilled in utilizing the donor management database to efficiently help support the various day-to-day functions of the Development department’s direct mail and donor management functions.

Essential qualifications:

• High School Diploma (College Degree preferred)
• Marketing and/or fund-raising experience preferred
• 2+ years administrative and/or work-related experience
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, PowerPoint
• Works well with spreadsheets and in Excel
• Familiarity with relational databases
• Prioritize multiple work tasks to meet tight deadlines
• Maintain confidentiality
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be proficient in English language skills for both reading and writing.
• Must be proactive, able to show initiative and work on his/her own.
• Must be able to multi task, be detailed oriented, and be well organized.
• Must exhibit a great attitude and enjoy working both independently and in teams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Learn the functions of Portfolio, TSA’s donor database management system.
• Assist in posting batches which contain gift transactions; when needed based on volume and priorities.
• Assist is sending out acknowledgements, while updating donor records and communications.
• Assist in updating direct mail campaigns with relevant codes, costs, quantities, uploading promo codes, etc. to support the Director’s reporting and analysis functions and general campaign management.
• Adhere to the detailed instructions of entering donor and campaign information to insure accuracy in generating reports. Consult with supervisor on any uncertainties and suggestions.
• Assist in running selects for mailings.
• Ensures prompt, friendly and efficient customer service internally to TSA staff, to donors, TSA units, and vendors, meeting agreed performance standards as required.
• Prepare and distribute correspondence as needed.
• Manage telephone and electronic communications.
• Knowledge of donor/direct mail management processes and database applications.
