JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Employee will receive training in the following responsibilities and may or may not be involved in all but may provide backup for those functions he or she is not directly responsible for.
- Employee may eventually take responsibility for all functions.
- Assist with all administrative aspects of inventory control such as receiving; creating purchase orders; reflecting damage, etc. in a continuous and timely manner.
- Assist with every aspect of administration of large customer orders from offering inventory to making sure the order gets picked up timely.
- Create or double check customer orders, invoices, purchase orders and inventory lists.
- Enter order summaries of large customer orders.
- Enter tracking lists for multiple customer orders.
- Enter customer orders into relevant program/template.
- Maintain list of payables to vendors of inventory related items- request payments in a timely manner – receive payments in accounting system and close them out according to guidelines given.
- Communicate with Freight forwarders and keep log of HST codes and fill out 10+2 forms per guidelines provided.
- Check Pro Forma invoices against Purchase Orders and make approved changes in accounting system and reflect changes in list of payables to vendors.
- Assist with troubleshooting any problems that arise with warehouse customer orders or inventory issues. Keep them informed of what will be delivered and what large orders will be coming their way. Update the warehouse with new product codes and dimensions as they become available.
